Shibsagar Singh is a right-handed batsman of West Bengal Cricket team. He was born on September 15, 1979 in Bardhaman (earlier Burdwan), Orissa. He is also known as `Shibu` and has played for East Zone Cricket team also.

Shibsagar Singh, West Bengal Cricketer This slow left-arm orthodox bowler of Bengal team had his "First-class" match debut in 1996/97. He has played for overall 24 "First-class" matches with an average of 14.23. Shibsagar Singh has made a total score of 242 runs in these matches and his highest score in any of these matches is 46 runs. Ranjib Biswal and Sukhvinder Singh dismissed him most in the "First-class" matches.

Whereas in bowling, he has picked up total 41 wickets by losing 1975 runs out of 4924 balls he played in the "First-class" matches. Shibsagar`s bowling average is 48.17 and economy is 2.40. His latest "First-class" match was against Mumbai held at Kolkata from December 1 to 4 in 2006. Shibsagar Singh dismissed Subhadeep Ghosh mostly in these matches.

Shibsagar Singh had his "List A" match debut in 1996/97. He has played in altogether 27 "List A" matches with an average of 14.36. Shibsagar`s total score in these matches is 158 runs and his highest score in any of this single match is 32 runs. Debasis Mohanty, Niranjan Behera, Anand Katti, Kulamani Parida, Sukhvinder Singh, Sangram Sawant, Doddapaneni Kalyankrishna, Timir Chanda, Vinay Kumar, Sridharan Sriram and Jagannath Das caught him most in the "List A" matches.

While with ball in hand, Shibsagar has picked up 27 wickets by losing 743 runs out of 1269 balls he played in the "List A" matches. His bowling average is 27.51 and economy is 3.51 in these matches. The latest "List A" match played by Shibsagar Singh was against South Zone Cricket team at Ahmedabad on February 26 in 2007. He dismissed Rajesh Borah and Rajiv Kumar mostly in these matches.
