The Indian movie `Return of Hanuman` is not the sequel of Hanuman. CBFC rated this as an educational movie as a matter of fact that it deals with the issue of Global Warming. There is no similarity between `Hanuman` and `Hanuman returns`. `Hanuman` was a pure mythological film. But `Return of Hanuman` merges mythology with the present-day lifestyle and the mingling is done in an awesome way. In this film, the director has included Gabbar Singh, voice-over clones of ShahRukh Khan, Sanjeev Kumar and Raj Kumar.

Synopsis of Return of Hanuman
The Indian movie `Return of Hanuman` is an animation movie for children. This movie has coped up with the modern day in many ways as for example Lord Bramha keeps a look on Earth`s crime graph over the computer. Narad thrums a guitar instead of the sitar in traditional style. The director tried to show all the things in modern style. `Return of Hanuman` begins with the battle between the gods and rakshasas. The focus points to a small kid Minku. Minku resides in a small village in present-day India. His friend`s often make fun of Minku.

Hanuman checks on the boy through a computer screen and zoom in to Bajrangpur. He wanted to keep a track on the boy. After getting bored by same monotonous features in the sky Hanuman expresses his desires to go in the Earth. When he approaches Lord Bramha for permission to visit Earth, Bramha tries to advise him and asks Chitragupta to show Earth`s present scenario of increasing crime rate. Chitragupta was busy surfing meneka.com. He closes the site and shows Hanuman the condition of Earth. But Hanuman is adamant and wants to go to Earth. Bramha finally agrees and allows him but not before making him sign a `contract`. He agrees to all the conditions which includes the several do`s and don`ts.

Thus Hanuman is born as a baby with a tiny tail to a Pundit. He is named Maruti, who grows unusually fast and always remains hungry. Maruti eats endlessly as his stomach being metaphor for black hole and grows up miraculously fast. He can even eat the whole months ration many a times. At the age of 3 months he starts attending school and is a favorite among his classmates. He befriends an underdog Minku and engages in some adventurous escapades. Folklore comes into picture when Maruti fights negative forces like Rahu, Ketu and Shukracharya to save earth from the scum of the universe. The climax reminiscent of the Hollywood sci-fi Evolution also has a social message to curb pollution and avoid plastic usage.

In the meantime demons like Rahu and Ketu come back to Earth. Earlier they went to Shukragraha. A series of events sets off where humankind is on the verge of being destroyed by nature`s fury. There is a message towards the end. This can be said as not to destroy nature and stops global worming.

There are many things which can be enjoyed by the kids very well. There are plenty of innovative modern things that are added in this film. The kids are tickled by some shots as when Lord Vishnu is fighting a demon that breathes fire and Vishnu uses a fire extinguisher to douse the flames. It is innovative to merge mythology with the contemporary aspects of the society. This Bollywood movie `Return of Hanuman` is recommended for children and the children at heart.
