Rahul Khanna is the son of Vinod Khanna and brother of Akshaye Khanna. All of them are known face in the media and earned a lot of fame in their respective film career. Bollywood actor Rahul Khanna was born on 20th June 1972. He made his film debut in Canadian director Deepa Mehta`s film `1947: Earth`. The film was released in the year 1998.

For his unforgottable performance in the movie the actor won a Filmfare Award as Best Newcomer. He has also worked in Jag Mundhra`s `Bawander` in the year 2000 and Mehta`s Bollywood/Hollywood in 2003. He also appeared in the American film `The Emperor`s Club` in 2002. In 2005 he appeared in his first mainstream Bollywood film `Elaan`. After a break from acting for two years, he returned in 2007 with the film `Raqeeb`. Previously he was a video jockey on MTV India. The Indian movie actor Rahul Khanna is an ardent animal lover. Rahul posed for PeTA`s campaign to free elephants from the horrifying conditions they face in Indian zoos. Rahul also wrote a public letter to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra asking him to ban the entry of performing elephants into Mumbai after hearing of an elephant that was hit and killed by a truck. He personally wanted to join with such an organization. According to him to treat its animals humanely is the mark of a truly evolved civilization.
