The Jammu and Kashmir People`s Democratic Party is a regional political party based in Jammu and Kashmir.

 Ms Mehbooba Mufti is the present leader cum president of the partyThe Jammu and Kashmir People`s Democratic Party is a regional political party founded in 1999 under the leadership of the former Union Home Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. The party rose to power after the 2002 assembly elections. The Jammu and Kashmir People`s Democratic Party is a member of the presently ruling United Progressive Alliance. Ms Mehbooba Mufti is the present leader cum president of the party. She is the daughter to Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. She also represented the Anantnag constituency of Jammu and Kashmir at the 14th Lok Sabha.
