Indian National Lok Dal
It is a Haryana based political party, unpopular in its canvassing, but is certainly on a comeback mode.

The post of the president is adorned by Om Prakash ChautalaIndian National Lok Dal is a Haryana based political party. The party is regarded as the principal opposition party in Haryana. The post of the president is adorned by Om Prakash Chautala and the post of Secretary General by Ajay Singh Chautala. Indian National Lok Dal is also a member of the National Democratic Alliance. The party also participated in the BJP- led government as a member of the National Democratic Alliance. The Indian National Lok Dal had an electoral confederation with BJP in Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections held in 1999.

In 2000 Chautala was elected the Chief Minister of Haryana for the 5th time. INLD won 47 out of 90 seats (in total the party had 62 candidates) in the state assembly elections held in 2000. The party repugned all ten seats in Haryana on their own in the Lok Sabha elections 2004 after breaking relations with BJP. But in the Haryana state assembly elections held in 2005, INLD won merely 9 seats out of 90 seats. Clearly, they lost their majority.
