Akash Chopra is a right-handed batsman of Delhi Cricket team. He is also a player of team India and opened in many matches. He was born on September 19, 1977 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
Akash Chopra has also played for Marylebone Cricket Club. He bowls both in right-arm medium and right-arm offbreak style. He plays with a technique and perfect temperament. Akash Chopra`s performance became low at the end of the 2002-03 because of a right-knee injury. But then he started new season with a sound batting in the "two-Test series" at home against New Zealand. For that, he got the chance to open with Virender Sehwag against Australia. He provided strong opening partnership with his Delhi teammate Sehwag.
