Spituk monastery dictates a panoramic view of the Indus Valley for miles. Numerous images of Lord Buddha and five `thankas` (scroll painting on silk and brocade) are found in this 15th century-built monastery. Spituk also houses a prized collection of masks, antique arms and an admiring idol of Mahakaal.
