Chandi Mata Temple is an exceedingly venerated shrine, situated at Machail in Doda district. The commanding deity is Goddess Chandi- an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple is near to the town of Kishtwar. However, Chandi Mata temple can be reached from Bhaderwah, about 80km from Batote.
