Sivanand Yoga Vedant Natraja Centre, Kailash Colony, New Delhi
Founded by Swami Vishnu-Devananda the Sivanand Yoga Vedant Natraja Centre is a holy shrine.

The Sivanand Yoga Vedant Natraja Centre, Delhi was founded by Swami Vishnu-Devananda as a non-profit organisation in 1992 as part of the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, Its purpose is to disseminate the ancient science of yoga as a means of achieving physical, mental and spiritual well being. Upon the instruction of his Guru, Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh, Uttaranchal, India, Swami Vishnu -Devananda headed to the west and began travelling and teaching throughout the United States in 1957. He established the first Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Montreal, Canada in 1959. There are now close to 80 Sivananda locations (ashrams, yoga centres and affiliated centres) around the world. The organisation has trained more than 10,000 yoga teachers. The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres are recognised worldwide for teaching yoga realistically, preserving its purity and tradition, which dates back several thousand years. Swami Sivananda`s essence of teachings can be summarised in the maxim, "Serve, Love, Give, Purity, Meditate, Realise".
