Neikkarapatti, Tamil Nadu

One finds no dearth of cities and towns in the soils of India that have thronged by leaps and bounds. In case of Tamil Nadu the same phenomenon is prevalent. Neikkarapatti has drawn the admiration of all the experts. It can also be spelt as Neikkarapatty. In fact it is the name of a panchayat town, which has its location in the district of Dindigul of the same state of the country.

Discussion on any town or city does not take a concrete shape without gathering enough information that is related to its demography. For fulfilling such motive eminent demographers have tirelessly working night and day in Neikkarapatti so that they would succeed in conducting surveys and research works. It is on the banks of River Shanmuga, covering an area of near about 2 sq. kilometers. Neikkarapatti lies near Palani. Places like Ayyampalayam, Sankaramanallur, Balasamudram, Pushpattur and Ayakudi forms the boundaries of Neikkarapatti. To enhance the tourist quotient Neikkarapatti is thronged with numerous temples like Dandayudhapani Temple, Ahobila Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Palani Hill Temple and Malai Nachiamman Temple. They are found in the adjoining areas. For facilitating accessibility, this Neikkarapatti is well connected by airports and railways. C A Coimbatore Airport and Palani Railway Station lie in the vicinity.
