Meghna Reddy is an Indian model and a former VJ for Channel V. She is popular in the fashion industry for her gorgeous and stunning looks and her intelligence, with which she has captivated and enthralled her audiences. During the mid-nineties, Meghna anchored a highly successful show named Mangta Hai on Channel [V], a satellite music channel in India. Later, she shifted her base to England, in order to improve her career and to make it big in the international domain. Meghna Reddy was born on October 24, 1975. Her family traces back from Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. She has two other siblings, Sushma Reddy and Sameera Reddy, who are also recognized celebrities in their respective fields of modeling and acting. Meghna Reddy studied and completed her education at Bombay Scottish School and then pursued her education from St. Joseph`s Convent, and later from Synedham College to continue higher degrees.

In 1994, Reddy dropped out of the Miss India Contest as she would miss out on other things in life, and made headlines for her drastic decision. Because of this decision, she was further motivated to enter the glamorous profession of anchoring.

Meghna Reddy`s career took a turn after she left for London to pursue better career opportunities. Earlier she used co-host a successful show, Mangta Hai, on Channel V. But after she shifted to New York, her career as a moved improved even further. She has modeled for mail catalogs like Macy`s. Meghna Reddy has also done advertisements for Baby Phat, Secret, Tommy Hilfiger, Naturalizer, Sisley. Although, Meghna Reddy faced hurdles in London, but eventually her international modeling career reached new levels, and since then the svelte model has never looked back. Being blessed with tremendous confidence and poise, she glides down the ramp, with grace and elegance. Recently, Meghna Reddy walked the ramp for celebrated fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, in New York where she got noticed and much appreciated. She was also the only Indian model walking the ramp, along with other international models, in the fashion show at Diane`s exclusive Upper West boutique, New York. Although her initial performance in the New York fashion scene was a bit edgy but in her next show, she oozed with confidence, and moved around the ramp with elegance, in a gorgeous green outfit. She received much adulation at the end of the show, from the chief hair stylist Fredrick Fekkai. He was so impressed with Meghna, that he wanted a picture with his "favorite new girl". Furthermore, New York Times also chose Meghna Reddy as a brand new face and tagged her as Little Miss Reddy. She was also praised by the topmost celebrities including Natasha Richardson, Julianne Moore and Diane Sawyer. She also worked with the renowned designer called Terry Richardson, for the very prestigious Sisley campaign. She also worked very closely with Savio label for the Spring Summer 2003 collection.

The other supreme project she has done is the sensual Copper advertisement. Meghna Reddy also appeared on the cover of National Geographic Magazine, the August edition, featuring in an article on `changes in traditional families` in a witty photo along with her mother in a Saree and where as she appeared in modern western attire.

Meghana Reddy got married to Ari Mionis, a real estate developer, on December 12. Her husband works with large tracts of land in the Greek islands.
