Gandheswar Temple, Sripur , Chhattisgarh
Ideally seated at banks of Mahanadi River Gandheshwar temple is the holy shrine, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Gandheswar Temple is located on the banks of the Mahanadi River in Sripur, Chhattisgarh and is consecrated to Lord Shiva. The Gandheswar temple was built atop architectural remains of ancient temples and viharas. The apex of the entrance is adorned with pictures of Shiv Leela. Inside the temple, in the crypt, there is a statue of Lord Buddha, touching earth. Besides these, the temple premises house statues of Nataraj, Shiva, Varaha, Garuda Narayan and Mahishasur Mardini.
