Dudhari Temple and Monastery, Raipur

The Dudhari Temple and Monastery is located in the southern part of proper Raipur city on the banks of an ancient river called Maharajbandh. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Rama, built in the mid 17th century by King Jaisingh ofRraipur. Dudhari temple has handsome murals. The monastery was however named after Swami Balbhadra Das who only had `doodh` (milk) as his staple diet. Entombments of the former `Mahants` can also be seen in the nearby grounds.
