Born on 21st February 1986 the very gorgeous Deepal Shaw is already known for abalzing the screen with her magnificent presence. Known for her frankness and being an independent thinker she is truly a woman who knows what she wants. She was born and brought up in the tinsel town. She belongs to a joint family and her grandparents shifted to Mumbai from Lucknow 60 years ago. Her family is into joint business of iron and steel and she has a younger brother. Because being deeply rooted in Lucknow she is well versed in the Hindi language. She is currently pursuing a degree in psychology and has always been a good student. She is extremely passionate about sports and always used to play basketball and cricket with guys. Being a Piscean she loves to dream and always dreamt of winning the Fimfare Awards in the prestigious awards ceremonies and also cherished the desire of working with big stars. Deepal Shaw was always fascinated with the glamour world. When Sushmita Sen won the Miss Universe crown she was only eight years old but since then she had been harboring the dream of making it in Bollywood. Later, she also participated in the Thums Up ad campaign with Sushmita Sen and one of the most Bollywood heroes Salman Khan. She also got a lot of offers for ads, but she did not want to get branded as an ad girl. Following that she also got offers for music videos. Her family was always prepared seeing their daughter in such glamorous `avtaars` because they knew she was interested in movies. And she truly made her dreams come true by appearing in the sizzling music video. She got instant fame and also bagged international album in a fortnight. She also considers herself extremely fortunate to get recognized in such a short span of her career. However she stopped after her second video, `Rangeela re`, to remain exclusive. She also claims that one grow much by doing music videos. As there is very limited scope to act one generally gets tagged as an item girl. She got some offers to dance in South Indian movies, but she took all the efforts to decline each of those offers. She wanted to concentrate herself solely in acting here in acting. She also got to act in two Bollywood flicks called `Daag` and `Kalyug`. In the later one she essayed the role of a porn star, which earned her huge critical acclaim. Currently she is busy with another Bollywood venture titled `Tumse` which is a love story about two characters whose relationship undergoes many changes as they face different circumstances in life. In this movie she is paired opposite the very talented Irfaan Khan who is chosen to play the male lead. However Deepal claimed that the movie is all about love, "It`s about how love creates hassles in their lives, while rescuing them from various situations at the same time. It`s like when love ceases to be a secret, it ceases to be a pleasure."

Somewhere deep down in her heart Deepal Shaw also wanted to see herself as a successful singer. She saw her dreams getting fulfilled when she got the chance to do an international album. She never chose to sing in India because she wanted to act here. In There is too much competition and she thought she could not do justice to both. So she concentrated only on acting here. About her acting skills she asserted in a recent interview that she has not been trained and all that she can is her naturalness. Once Deepal Shaw was a nameless face but catapulted to fame her sexy music videos "Kabhi aar kabhi paar and Rangeela re", and her popularity scorched the charts like anything. The next step obvious to her was her entry into the Bollywood Film Industry. Soon after she signed her first film, the Bollywood flick `Daag: The Shades Of Love`, by Hriday Shetty in which she was paired opposite Ashmit Patel. The extremely talented Deepal Shaw has recently crossed the borders of her motherland and is all set to make her entry in a new music video, featuring the Western singing sensation

On the personal front also Deepal Shaw is more than happy with her life. She studies movies and tries to learn what the director is trying to portray. She also loves to read and talk. Serious topics like economics, politics, and the population interest her a lot. By nature she is very restless. She also loves to imitate people. She also shares an extreme passion for writing and has been writing for about three years now. About some message to her newcomers she conveys the following, "Newcomers must study.
