He has also done script writing for the channel B4u after which he decided to try his luck in television as an actor. In a recent interview he regretted the fact that the writers are lowly paid and are unnoticed. This prompted Vishal to establish his career in acting. He also reiterated the fact that acting involves lots of popularity and money although the creative skills are more prominent in the field of writing. He is making significant contributions in writing and giving his utmost best efforts in the roles he is currently engaged with that include `Vaidehi - Ek Aur Agneeparisksha` and `Viraasat`.
