Following this Soniya Kapoor played a role in `Zaanzerein` where she was selected as the main lead. Since then her career graph went zooming up. Then came in her life another turning point when she was chosen to play the role of a young mother Soniya Ray in the hugely popular teen show `Remix`. Opting for this role she had also gone for a big sacrifice of rejecting the role of Mohini in the biggest Balaji show `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi`. Her fans were also delighted to see her in other popular shows like `Shagun`, `Lipstick`, `Piya Ka Ghar` and `Jeete Hai Jiske Liye`. She is mostly famous in the television industry for her negative roles. She has also appeared in a cameo role in the moderately hit Bollywood flick `Fareb` starring the two very popular Bollywood sisters Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty.
