Naregal is the name of a panchayat town, which is located in the Gadag district of Karnataka state of India

While introspecting the states of India one finds no paucity of towns and cities that have flourished here by leaps and bounds. The same phenomenon also is valid for the Karnataka state as well. In fact it is a panchayat town, lying in the district of Gadag district of the same state of India

Strategically Naregal rises approximately at 15.58° N 75.82° E. It has an average height of 628 meters or 2060 feet.

If one wants to discover any place or town it becomes essential that one should get familiarized with its demographical situation. To fulfill that goal quite a number of demographers have been successful in throwing light about the latest updates of Naregal town`s demography. As per this report , the total population of Naregal has been counted to be 16,652. Further, population of males is 51 % and total female population constitutes 49 % only . In Naregal, the rate of female literacy, like the population status, is less than that of the males. The former one is 49 %, and the latter is 73 %. No one differs from the fact that Naregal males are more inclined to education than the females.

Naregal lies at a distance of `15 km north-east of Gadag town`. In the adjacent areas of Naregal one could see important places as well. Abbigeri lies 5 km west. Ron is 12 km north of Naregal. Important towns like Nidgundi , Kuknur and Harlapur are situated near by.

Primary attraction is the Jain temple, which is famous as Narayana Temple. It was constructed in AD 950.

To facilitate connectivity, this Naregal town is well connected by airports and railways. The closest Hubli Airport lies 80 km west. Gadag Junction Railway Station lies in close vicinity.
