Naoriya Pakhanglakpa is a census town, which is situated in the Imphal West district of Manipur state of India

Following the tradition of each and every state of Indian subcontinent it becomes quite apparent that in the state of Manipur also towns and cities have flourished in large numbers. Amongst them one can easily distinguish the significance of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa. It is the name of a census town, which lies in the district of Imphal West of the same state of India.

Without discussing the demographical feats of the Naoriya Pakhanglakpa it becomes quite impossible for any person to develop familiarity with its characteristics in the true sense. A handful of demographers have worked diligently and brought out extensive reports that are based on their findings. Regarding this, the Census report has been issued forth in the year 2001. As per this report, the total population of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa has showed a counting of 6619. By analyzing deep onto the report one also gets to know the status of males, females and also that of children of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa. Interestingly, in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa both males and females are in equal proportion. In other words male population constitutes 50 %, while the population of females is also the same. In Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, children who are below six years of age constitute 10 % of the total population.

Since literacy condition gauges progress and development of any town, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa town`s development too has been rightly proved. In fact the average literacy rate of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa constitutes 79 %, which is even higher than that of the entire nation. 59.5 % is India`s average literacy rate. On individual basis also both male and female literacy rates are quite high. To be specific, male literacy rate constitutes 85 %. Rate of female literacy is also no less in significant and thus comprises of 73 %.
