Gurdas Maan is a famous Punjabi singer, choreographer, and songwriter. He has also entered in the world of acting. This famous Punjabi singer was born on 5the January in the year 1952 in Giddarbaha, Muktsar District, Punjab, India. Gurdas Maan rose to the national fame during the year 1980 with the song "Dil Da Mamala Hai". Since then he has never looked back and released over 27 albums and has written over 200 songs.

Early Life of Gurdas Maan
Gurdas Maan was born to a family of Sikh Maan Jat. He was enrolled into a educational institute of Patiala after finishing his education in Malout. But since the childhood he was very much enthusiastic with sports, which ultimately led him to the National Institute of Sports in the city. Afterwards Gurdas Maan obtained a Masters Degree in Physical Education from there.
