Puducherry is famous for pottery, mat weaving, papier- mache and clay dolls. It is also famous for weaving a variety of cloths like satin, twill, corduroy, poplin, chambray, oxford cambric and Khadi.

The crafts of Delhi have received royal patronage in the past and it was the hub of crafts in ancient India. Some of the various crafts of Delhi are, jewellery making, toy making, zardozi embroidery and blue pottery.

The arts and crafts of Lakshadweep are made using the local resources that are available like coconut shells, seashells and tortoise shells.

The famous crafts of Daman are mat weaving, and that of Diu are tortoise shell and ivory carving.

The famous crafts of Dadra and Nagar Haveli are leather slippers and weaving of bamboo mats and baskets.

The islands of Andaman and Nicobar islands are famous for carpentry and woodwork, shell craft and basketry and mat making.
