Yana is vivacious, sensuous and at present one of the hottest "item" girls in Bollywood. Yana Gupta originally known as Yana Synkova was born at Brno in Czechoslovakia, which is now known as the Czech Republic. She made her debut on the ramp in the mid-1990s and was known all over to set the ramp on fire. The major turning point of her career when she directed her attention toward the east and tied the knot with an Indian painter named Satyakam Gupta. She however later divorced him.

Having started modelling since the tender age of 16 Yana has gone ahead to endorse international brands like Calvin Klein and Victoria`s Secret. She was also successful in drawing much attention in the European continent and had even worked on renowned brands like Nivea and Shiseido before she made the Indian subcontinent her home and settled down with her husband. She shot to limelight when she successfully replaced the dusky beauty and the very popular Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu for the item number `babuji jaara dheere chalo` in the Bollywood flick `Dum` starring Vivek Oberoi. Soon after she appeared in other item numbers which could not manage to create waves in the hearts of the silver screen audiences.

Yana Gupta was also lucky enough to be named the new face for Lakme cosmetics in the Indian subcontinent in the year 2001. She also signed up as brand ambassador with a leading mobile company as well as PC games company, India Games and will feature in several of their interesting games and applications all of which are related to fitness, puzzles etc. From ramp to calendar the sensuous damsel has gone a long way to create a special niche for herself in the hearts of her fan following. Recently she was also seen playing the role of an anchor in the `spicy` show aired on Zoom channel called `Mirch Masala` where she dances to popular Bollywood numbers. Yaana was also seen in the popular TV show Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
