Sanjay SubramaniamSanjay Subramaniam has been recognized as one amongst the Indian musician who has specialized in the music world of Carnatic tradition. This astonishing performing artist has magnetized his audiences throughout the world with his performances. He has participated at many highly acclaimed concerts. His powerful and energetic voice has created a wave within the audiences throughout. Sanjay Subramaniam was born on 21st January in the year 1968 at Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India. Apart from establishing himself in the realm of music he has proved himself in the field of academics as well. Besides being a Commerce Graduate, he is a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant.

Early Life of Sanjay Subramaniam
When Sanjay Subramaniam was inducted to the world of music at his 7 years, that time he was receiving training both for violin and vocals. He received his training in Violin and vocals under renowned music teachers, like violin maestro V. Lakshminarayana, Rukmini Rajagopalan, Nadaswaram maestro, Semponarkoil SRD Vaidyanathan. Sanjay Subramaniam has specialized in vocal music over the years.

Today Sanjay Subramaniam has become a striking proponent of Carnatic Music in his generation through his entertaining sound knowledge of sruti values, raagas, composite rhythms, and compositions. Sanjay Subramaniam has been greatly influenced by the praiseworthy singer, G. N. Balasubramaniam and Sanjay has decided to devote his life to Indian classical music

Awards and Achievements for Sanjay Subramaniam
Acknowledging Sanjay Subramaniam`s talent he has been conferred many laurels like, an `A` Grade artiste of All India Radio, Madras; the Outstanding Junior Musician Award from the Annual Conference of the Madras Music Academy; Yuva Kala Bharathi title from Bharat Kalachar, Chennai in the year 1991; Isai Peroli from Karthik Fine arts, Chennai, in the year 2000; Sangeetha Kalasarthy Award from Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, in the year 2006. He has also established himself as a consecrated teacher and became the `role model` to his students. He has started performing in concerts in the year1986. He has travelled through the countries like United States, Europe, Australia and South-east Asia in order to exhibit carnatic music. He has also performed at the high status institutions in India as well as in the abroad.

To his credit Sanjay Subramaniam has also released several CDs and cassettes. Through this he has established his role who wants to spread and promote Indian classical music across the globe.
