Ramchandra Joshi is a well-accomplished Indian Hindustani Classical vocalist and has been considered as a Grade B Artist at All India Radio, Mumbai.

Ramchandra JoshiRamchandra Joshi has been regarded as one of the established Indian Hindustani Classical vocalist who also plays harmonium. Presently he is residing at Edison, New Jersey. As recognition to this expert he has been included as Grade B Artist at All India Radio, Mumbai, India. He has topped 2nd in All India, in All India Level music competition held by Akashvani (All India Radio) in 1994 in Light Classical Vocal music category.

Early Life of Ramchandra Joshi
Ramchandra Joshi received proper guidance under the great tutelage of vocalist of Gwalior Gharana Dr. Veena Sahasrabuddhe, who resides in Pune, India. He has been inducted to the world of music at the tender age of 8 years. Joshi started receiving training in Indian classical music from Sangeet Mahabharati, Mumbai, founded by Late Pt. Nikhil Ghosh. He has been trained under the expert tutelage of Mrs. Krishna Mukherjee who happens to be disciple of well-known exponent Begum Parveen Sultana at Sangeet Mahabharati, Mumbai. Ramchandra Joshi has also undergone training from Mrs. Sraboni Mukherjee in Light Classical Music like Thumri, Hori, who is disciple of renowned Thumri exponent, Shobha Gurtu.

Career of Ramchandra Joshi
Throughout his professional career Ramchandra Joshi has performed at many places in India, USA and UK and Switzerland. He has executed harmonium Solo and Vocal Recitals broadcasted on All India Radio, Mumbai Kendra, from the year 1994 to 1999; he has participated concerts hosted at Sangeet Mahabharati Mumbai; performed at Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan at Indore and New Delhi; Joshi has also sang at Indian Merchant`s Chamber, Mumbai in the year 1994; Kalke Kalakar Sammelan at Brila Matushree Hall Mumbai in the year 1998; he has appeared with Dr. Veena Sahasrabuddhe at Malhar Festival at Nehru Center, Mumbai in June in 1998; performed at the Young Artists Concerts in Parle Music Circle in Mumbai, in the year 1998; Inter-College festivals in IIT Mumbai, St Xaviers College.

Ramchandra Joshi ahs also given an excellent performance in Swara Vilaas, Mumbai in the year 1996; performed at Hori Festival held at Mumbai, in March, in the year 2001; He also performed at Maharashtra Mandal- London, Leicester, Corydon; Ganesha Festival Lucerne 2001; Concert in Altendorf with Demonstrating Ragas and Seasons; Bharatiya Temple-North Wales, Rama navami , Ganeshotsav in the year 2005; Maharashtra Mandal- San Jose California USA; Classical, Semi classical Concerts in New Jersey and Philadelphia.

He has also executed devotional music at Theme Programs such as, Krishna, organised by Pranateertha Charitable Mission, Pune. Here, Joshi performed several songs, bhajans, chants and the tales of Lord Krishna. Ramchandra Joshi has also appeared in Satsang programs in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Switzerland, US and UK, at various events conducted by Art of living on Guru Purnima, Mahashivratri, Durgashtami, Krishna Janmashtami etc.
