Neyveli Santhanagopalan is a highly acclaimed senior Carnatic tradition musician who has made his impression throughout the world with his execution. He is a celebrated vocalist for his effectual execution of concerts formulate in a particular style of `bhakti` and `bhava`. This kind of execution magnetized the various audience groups. Through his rendering he raised music to the `pedestal of divine life philosophy`. Thus however the connoisseurs have also been captured with his performances.

From the leading music associations in India and overseas, Neyveli Santhanagopalan has received laurels as an acknowledgement of his talent. At the famed religious or spiritual centers, he has been coveted as the `Asthana Vidwan`. Neyveli Santhanagopalan possesses a brilliant theoretical depth that after the amalgamation along with extensive research analysis of the best approaches resulted into bringing up an atmosphere that is aimed at the best music appreciation efforts.

Acknowledging his talent he has been conferred many accolades from the reputed institutions and organizations. Yuva Kala Bharathi, Bharath Kalachar, Chennai; Isai Peroli, Karthik Fine Arts, Chennai; Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer Award, Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer Foundation, Chennai; Kanhchana Venkata Subrahmaniam Golden Jubilee Award, South Canara, in the year 2004; Gana Priya Ratna, Priya Vision, Chennai; Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar Award, Vazhuvur Foundation, Chennai; Vani Kala Sudhakara, Sri Tyaga Brahma Gana Sabha, Chennai; Rasika Priya Rathna, Rasikapriya, Australia; Nada Sri, Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Foundation; Veda Vyasa Vidwan Mani, Tambaram Vedavyasa Tapovanam; Thyagaraja Purandaradasar Award by Rajarajeshwari Cultural Association, Bangalore; Viswaroopa Sangeetha Ratna Award by Kottayam Thirunakkara Viswaroopa Sangeethotsava Trust; `A` Grade Artiste featured regularly in All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan. Performed on National Program of Music in AIR and Doordarshan; Kanchi Mutt, Asthana Vidwan; Sringeri Mutt, Asthana Vidwan; Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Mutt, Mysore, Asthana Vidwan are to name a few.

To his credit, Neyveli Santhanagopalan has established his own music school, namely `Sri Chandrasekara Gurukripa`. The school has been opened with an aim of promoting value-based music. With this aim, he has always attempted to encourage the aspiring students in the field of Carnatic music. He has also anchored for the Jaya TV program `SaRiGaMaPa` with esurient viewers across the globe. In order to utilize the use of Internet, he has headed the launch of `propagation of music teaching efforts over the Internet` under www.indiamusicinfo.com.

Neyveli Santhanagopalan has also been selected as the cultural ambassador of India. As the cultural ambassador his responsibility was to `spread value-added music admiration by delivering several concerts at leading sabhas at Chennai, across India and all over the world`. During Mar-Apr 2005 he has performed at a benefit concert in the US to collect funds of over $US10,000 towards the Tsunami relief efforts organized by Mata Amrithananda International Institute. He has also released an observational CD titled `The Listener`s Choice`.

Neyveli Santhanagopalan in an extensive manner has researched on `Nada Laya Yoga`, which is a new maiden in exploring the therapeutic and curative effects of music. He also serves as the head person organizing the Arunagirinathar Festival at Vadapazhani Murugan Temple every year for spreading of Tirupugazh. In order to bridging the link between Carnatic music and Vedas he has also Conducted Veda Nada Mahostsava. Neyveli Santhanagopalan in association with Shree Krishna Sweets has also directed thematic music appreciation efforts. He has also conducted several lecture demonstration workshops in order to enhance music appreciation qualities for the `rasikas`. He has always attempted to promote the concept of chamber music concerts, establishing a platform for apprehension of concentrated and pure Carnatic music in its true form.
