The very charming and gifted actress Megha Gupta has been successful in making a mark in the television industry by the character portrayal of Satya Shrivastav in the popular Zee show `Mamta` which used to be broadcasted on the popular Zee Television channel sometime back. She is seen as the first widow of the male protagonist of the show Akshay Shrivastav (played by Anand Suryavanshi). The small screen audiences are surprised to know that this brilliant actress is just 23 years of age and has already in her kitty a significant role in one of the superhit shows of the Zee channel.

The scenes of Megha Gupta begin in the soap when Akshay has already expired. She had managed to woo the television viewers especially in the scenes where she had to wail and break her bangles on the wall. But that very scene had its disadvantages as well as some the bangle bits got choked in her throat and she had to be rushed to the clinic for medication. In this serial she will be seen in the role of a friend and the name of her character will be Aanchal.
