The veteran actor Deepak Qazir has captivated the hearts of the small screen viewers by portraying the character of Agarwal family`s patriarch in one of most popular Balaji entertainer `Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki`. In this soap the audiences saw him in a truly positive `avtaar` and in the actual form of the head of a family always trying to make everyone happy though it means sacrificing his won happiness. One has always been surprised by the immense acting potential displayed by the veteran actor.

The television viewers have also seen him in a positive role in another Balaji blockbuster show called `Kasautii Zindagi Kay`. In this soap Deepak Qazir plays the role of Moloy Basu who is the father of the male protagonist Anurag Basu (played by Cezanne Khan). He was also seen as the man who was responsible for establishing the Basu Publications along with his friend Rajesh Sharma.
