The very beautiful and extremely talented Bollywood actress Meenakshi Seshadri was born on 13th November 1963 and is considered till date one of the most versatile actresses in the Hindi Film Industry. Her father was a blue-collar employee in the Sindri Plant Fertilizer Factory. She was a dancer by profession and dancing was the form by which she wanted to satisfy her creative urge. She won the prestigious award `Ms India` in the year 1980. Soon after she decided to try her luck in the film industry. Like all good things in life she got better with her acting terms especially with performance-oriented roles and managed to woo the silver screen audiences as well as the film critics.
Her film career proved to be so brilliant that made her win huge critical acclaim in the very short span of her acting career. The lead role in the Bollywood blockbuster called `Damini` won her a round of accolades. Another Bollywood chartbuster flick `Ghayal` also earned her much praise and made her establish her foot strongly in the industry. Her notable achievements also include `Shehenshah` in the year 1988 and `Ghatak` in 1997.
On the personal front also Meenakshi Seshadri is very happy after tying the knot with Harish Mysore who is a banker by profession. They met over the phone through common friends and met in person one afternoon in the city of New York. It started from then and then they got married and settled down. They also have two kids, one daughter of seven years and one son of three years. Her matrimonial alliance resulted in the loss of another gem of the Indian Film Industry. After marriage she left for Texas to settle down with her family and now she works as a foreign language instructor. She has also opened up a dance academy in United States and teaches the notable Indian dance forms like Kathak, Odissi and Bharatnatyam. In the fifteen years course of her year she has appeared and meted brilliant performances in more than 63 Bollywood flicks. Such a talented and versatile actress is worthy of being missed by the hard-core movie-buffs.
