University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, KarnatakaUniversity of Agricultural Sciences was started on 1 October 1986. It is located on Dharwad-Belgaum road. It has several constituent colleges at different places of Karnataka like in Bijapur, Sirsi, Hanumanmatti.

The University has 4 Colleges, 25 Research Stations, 6 Extension Education Units, 5 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and ATIC. It has its jurisdiction over seven districts: Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Uttar Kannada in northern Karnataka.
