University of Agricultural Sciences is located on Dharwad-Belgaum in Dharwad.The started functioning in the year 1986. Previously it was the constituent college of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.

The University offers undergraduate courses in agriculture, home science, forestry horticulture, Agriculture engineering, Agri business-management and Agriculture Coperation and Marketing The Universities also offers postgraduate courses in Genetics, Plant biotechnology and Agriculutre physiology.
