The son of the very popular actor Ramesh Deo, called Ajinkya Deo has made his claim to fame with his brilliant performance in the television show `Sailaab` by Rajiv Rai. But his brilliant performance in `Aan` made him a household name. In the recent past he was seen in the hugely popular thriller show `Kohinoor` produced by the Cinevistas. The last soap has seen him mature as an actor and he also holds high regards for the show, which is very evident in his remark, "The thriller promises thrills and emotions interwoven with mystery". He further added, "The audience recognizes me as a cop because I have been playing the inspector quite often. In fact this cop act has made him tremendously satisfied about his performance. About his role Inspector Satyajit Shinde he claims that it has a typical Marathi flavour.

Ajinkya Deo also claims that he had taken this role, as he loves doing such characters and also felt that this was indeed very challenging for him to play. About his future roles he again does not wish to be typecasted and would love to do different roles in different projects, which will also give him the wide scope to perform. His huge fan following has an obvious expectation from him that there will be plenty of projects in his pipeline by which he would be able to entertain his fans to the hilt.
