Abir Goswami is not an unknown name in the television industry anymore. He has become a household name portraying the role of a rustic cop named Bali Shukla in `Jabb Love Hua`, which used to be broadcasted on Zee Television. His character is that of an honest police inspector which is somewhat similar to that of the most popular Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachhan`s role in the Bollywood chartbuster `Bunty Aur Babli`. Recently he is part of another hit show `Yeh Dil Chahe More` and is working a tele-film for Zee Smile. The projects in his pipeline include a Bengali film for Raja Mukherjee, the brother of the popular Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee.

Abir Goswami has been successful in making his entry into the Bollywood Film Industry as well. He has starred in the Bollywood flick called `Lakshya` in which he played the role of a doctor. His performance was very much acclaimed by the film-critics and he won a round of accolades for his role. On the personal front however Abir Goswami prefers to stay out of any commitments and does not want to be struck again by the Cupid in the near future. He says his only commitment is with work now and he wants to mete out this commitment with whole-hearted devotion. He also believes that one needs to be very dedicated when working in the television industry. About his favorites in the telly-world he takes the name of the very gorgeous Rakshanda Khan as he finds her to be very attractive. As of now he has only one wish and that is of wooing the audiences over by his forthcoming roles.
