The very beautiful and talented actress Akangsha Rawat has wooed the audiences of the small screen by her role in the hit Sahara show `Solhah Singaar`. She is very excited about the new role that she has got to play. The main thing, which inspired her to take up this role, was the breakaway from the typical `saans-bahu` flicks. About bagging the offer of this role she claims that she has shot for some other soap for Sahara long back. The channel people had stored that tape and by chance came upon it when they were looking somebody who would fit into the characteristics of Meera. Soon after she was recommended to Jay Mehta and following thet she was fortunate enough to bag the role.

The very talented Akangsha Rawat is a Garhwali by birth and was brought up in the capital of the Indian subcontinent. After that she shifted to Mumbai and post-graduated in Advertisement and Marketing from St. Xavier`s College. She also did a lot of modeling during her graduation days. After a long time she found the acting bug bit her hard and she moved ahead to audition for diverse roles for different channels. When she landed up with the fantastic role in `Solhah Singaar` she could not hold her excitement back. She claims that life is going pretty tough for her these days, as she is busy shooting for the show for a stretch of 16 hours in a day. She does not have any time to relax not any sort of entertainment can be accommodated in her life.

About future Akangsha Rawat is very confident as she claims that her acting potential is sure to win both the audience of both the silver screen and small screen. As of now she would just like to concentrate on `Solhah Singaar` and in the near future she would like to work in a weekly or a daily where in her role would not be sharing much of screen space. In that case it would give her enough time to concentrate on the present work. She also does not have any fear that the channel Sahara is not doing well. She claims that the recent strategies of the channel would definitely help the channel to attract more and more audiences. She also asserts the fact that being a marketing student she understands the pros and the cons of the strategies but then again everything is not in their hands. She is optimistic when she remarked in a recent interview that this show would definitely help to boost up the TRPs of the channel. On the personal front also this actress leads a quite carefree life. Over all this young and enthusiastic actress is definitely going to create a special niche for herself in the hearts of the audiences in the near future.
