The panchayat town, namely, Kurumbalur, showed a total population count of 11,124.

Kurumbalur is the name of a panchayat town, which lies in the district of Perambalur district of Tamil Nadu state of Indian Territory.

To satisfy the urge of a person to identify the characteristics of Kurumbalur town, it becomes imperative for him to know fully its demographical scenario. Prevalence of red sand with strewn tracks of black soil makes the region ideal for the growth of parched crops. The principal crop that has grown to suffice the needs of commercial purposes is the sugarcane. Due to abundance of limestone, industrial units producing cement have developed.
