Kodoli is a census town, which is located in the state of Maharashtra.

Quite a number of cities and towns have thronged the state of Maharashtra. Amongst them, one regards Kodoli to be quite significant. It is the name of census town . Strategically, this Kodoli town rises to a height of 16.88° N 74.2° E. It rises to a height of 548 metres or 1797 feet above the mean sea level. . Knowledge of a place to town becomes deficient without developing acquaintance about its demography. Towards that goal, eminent demographers have devoted maximum of their time for conducting extensive surveys and research works. On the basis of data that has been collected, they also have successfully prepared comprehensive reports. Amongst several reports, the Census report of a particular year is quite significant. According to this report, the total population of Kodoli has been enumerated to be 16,411. Out of it, population of males constitutes of 53 %. However the population of females constitutes 47 %. If one wants one can also get to know about the condition of children. In Kodoli, 12 % of the total population is below six years of age. To what extent a town has accomplished development is evident from its literacy condition. Thus literacy rate is an indicator for measuring the development and prosperity of a town in India. Considering the literacy condition of Kodoli it is affirmed that development has taken place here. Such a claim has been supported be enough reason.

Kodoli has got an average literacy rate of 80 %, which is quite high even than that of India which showed a measurement of 59.5 %. Just like male populace, in Kodoli male literacy rate too is higher than that of females . In other words 84 %, and 76 % are the rates of male and female literacy in Kodoli.
