Dr.Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry is located at Solan in Himachal Pradesh.It was set up in the year 1985 with a view to promote Horticulture and Forestry relates studies and increase the horticulture production in the country.The University offers various courses related to horticulture and forestry through different departmenmts under two college namely College of Horticulture, College of Forestry.The University is the first University of Horticulture & Forestry in Asia. Many students from Vietnam, Bhutan, Srilanka, Mozambique comes here to seek education in Horticulture & Forestry.
