Manoranjan Pradhan today has been reckoned as one of the leading Odissi male dancers.

Manoranjan Pradhan is regarded as one of the outstanding talent in the domain of Odissi dance. Under the aegis of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan, he has been enlightened at the Orissa Dance Academy. Orissa Dance Academy is situated in India. From Utkal University, Manoranjan Pradhan has obtained his Master`s degree in Odissi dance. He has studied master`s degree at Sangeet Mahavidyalaya.

Then after Manoranjan Pradhan came under the umbrella of Odisdsi dance maestro Padmabibhusan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and underwent a hard training. Through his astonishing execution of Odissi dance he has been mesmerizing his audiences in and outside India. He has also performed at Television. Manoranjan Pradhan has spent most of his significant time of career dancing and teaching. He has teaches in the countries like Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Manoranjan Pradhan At the Standford University, Manoranjan Pradhan was invited to ornate the post of a guest lecturer in Odissi dance. His experience as the teacher at the Odissi dance academy and Odissi Research centre in Bhubaneswar was proved to be beneficial at that time. Manoranjan Pradhan has toured extensively in the USA with Ralph Lemon`s "Tree". "Tree" is considered as the second in series of the Geography Trilogy by Ralph Lemon. He has toured with a company of dancers and musicians who came from all over the World. Other than USA, he has also performed at Germany, Italy, Croatia and England. Manoranjan Pradhan has married to a well-accomplished dancer Minati Dasgupta.

Manoranjan Pradhan in the United States has been invited to teach and perform in many organizations. To name a few from them are the Center for World Music in San Diego, the Orissa Society of America, and Indo-American Society. Like other Odissi eminent dancer, Manoranjan Pradhan is also aiming at the advancement of this traditional art form, Odissi. For that he is doing many research and innovative works from his creative aspects.
