Goverment Museum and Art Gallery is situated in setcor 10, Chandigarh. It was established in the year 1968.
There several section in the museum like, Gandhara and Hindu Sculptures section, Indian miniature section, Indian contemporary section manuscript section, decorative and coin section, Evolution of man section and Dinosaurs of India section. The museum also possesses a good library. This museum is open on all days leaving Mondays.
