One cannot forget the extremely innocent-looking and pretty actress Bhagyashree who starred opposite the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the Bollywood blockbuster `Maine Pyar Kiya`. In fact that film remained to be her first and last hit. She was very much acclaimed for her performance in the Bollywood flick. This exceptionally beautiful actress marked her entry into the world of acting in `Kacchhi Dhoop` by the veteran actor-turned producer Amol Palekar. In the serial titles `Kagaz Ki Kashti` Bhagyashree essays the character of Arti who is a small town girl whose childhood sweetheart comes back from United States with his adorable girl-friend. Soon after she is compelled to adjust herself to the circumstances especially when both the families meet and also contemplate to get the two of them married. The role that she essays is indeed a very challenging one, as she has to portray the wide range of emotions that her whole being goes through. In the due course of time she is shown to mature as a woman who is ready to face the world and take all that it has to offer. In fact the whole story is based on love and its wide range of connotations. Being the creative head of the soap she has also tried to ensure that all the characters are well etched out. In the recent past she has also anchored the show called `Jubille Plus` and acted in the soap called `Smriti`.

Family is always a priority for the very talented Bhagyashree. She does not work more than 15 days a month and only compromises on the time factor if the need arises. She is still open to acting in films provided that the roles that she gets to play suits her image altogether. She is also not ready to comprise on the issue of her attire and scenes that she would be donning in the small screen as well as the silver screen. About launching her serial on the Sahara channel she claims that she has immense confidence on this channel and also believes that her soap will garner some audience for the channels as the other shows have done for the equally popular channels like Star Plus and Zee Television.
