This museum at Srirangam in Tamil Nadu is a show house of old manuscripts, ivory idols, icons and a lot more.

The Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple Museum at Srirangam in the state of Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1968 as an Art museum.

No other than the historical items, this museum also stores objects like ivory idols, icons, old manuscripts, inscribed copper plates, wooden sculptures, bronze, brass, weapons, gold gilded idol, coins, jewellery, ivory box, textile, palm leaf manuscripts and musical instruments.

The persons who are interested to view these historical objects may visit between 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm. The museum is open throughout the year.
