Vishnu Aarti
Vishnu is worshipped among the Hindu deities with a most widely recited verse `Om Jai Jagdish Hare.

Vishnu is the most important among Hindu gods who holds a highest position and one among the trinity god. He is one who supports, sustains and governs the universe and originates and develops all elements within. Vishnu is the master of and beyond the past, present and future. In the Hindu Puranas Lord Vishnu is depicted as cloud-color complexioned (dark blue), four armed holding a lotus, mace, conch and the wheel or `Chakra`. In Bhagavad Gita Vishnu is described to have `Universal form` or `Vishvarupa`, which is beyond the ordinary limit of human perception.

Lord Vishnu is worshipped by a well known aarti-
Om jai Jagadish Hare, svami jai Jagadish Hare,
bhakt janon ke sankat, shan men dur kare, Om jai...
Jo dhyave phal pave, dukh binse man ka,
Sukh sampati ghar ave, kasht mite tan ka, Om jai...
Matpita tum mere sharan gahun main kiski,
Tum bin aur na duja, as karun main jiski, Om jai...
Tum puran Parmatma, tum antaryami,
Parbrahma parmeshvar tum sab ke svami, Om jai...
Tum karuna ke sagar, tum palan karta
Main murakh khal kami, kripa karo bharta, Om jai...
Tum ho ek agochar, sabe ke pranpati.
kis vidh milun dayamai, tum ko main kumati, Om jai...
Din bandhu dukh harta, tum rakshak mere,
Apne hath uthao, dvar pada main tere, Om jai...
Vishai vikar mitao, pap haro deva,
Shradha bhakti badhao, santan ki seva, Om jai...
Tan man dhan jo kuchh hai, sab hi hai tera,
Tera tujhko arpan, kya laga mera, Om jai....

This verse sings the glory of Lord Vishnu, which describes him as the master of the universe, who relives his followers from distress and pain. He who meditates on Lord Vishnu reaps the fruit of blessings, happiness, wealth and cure from tough diseases. He is the only trustworthy to the devotees. Vishnu is the most perfect and supreme lord of all and the controller of our innermost things. He is the ocean of compassion a sustainer of all who is kind-hearted to the dull-witted and wicked human being. Lord Vishnu is one and beyond the sensory knowledge of the devotee, and is the lord of all vital forces in the world. He is the only protector of the followers and lifts his ardent admirer who is lying at his doorsteps. The Lord himself uproots all the defilement of senses and all transgressions so that the faith of the devotee keep on growing. The follower of Vishnu finally dedicates him his body, intellect and wealth because the Lord is the sole owner of all that we have.
