Karan Mehra is an Indian television actor who has become quite a household name with the character portrayal of Vedant in the hugely popular show Virrudh. After working in two big soaps like Virrudh and Betiyaan Apni Yaa Paraaya Dhan, the well known Indian television actor Karan Mehra, is now busy having a brush with theatre as well. In fact the great persona who has rekindled Karan`s love and interest for theatre is none other than Barry John, who has gained extremely popularity by training the two most popular actors of Bollywood, ShahRukh Khan and Shiney Ahuja. In fact Karan has already learnt acting from Barry John in the capital of the Indian subcontinent. But after that Karan Mehra did not have time to pursue the training under Barry John, as Karan shifted to Mumbai and got busy with his television career.

In this serial, he plays the character of a fun-filled, easy-going talk show host who is engaged in the task of inviting celebrities and high profile elite personas to his show and also gets them to talk about different aspects and phases of their individual and related lives. Karan Mehra also plays a very good friend of the female protagonist of the show Sati and also harbours a soft corner for her due to her pleasant demeanour and strong determination. Their professional relationship is also very well portrayed. Though the show did not do too well he has received many applauds for his brilliant performances. Many have already acknowledged his classy performances; Bollywood superstars and Abhishek Bachchan recently congratulated him while he was shooting at Kalamisthan for Betiyaan.
