In the Purbi Singhbhum district, Haludbani is a census town, which has got a population of 19,933.

A multitude of towns, cities and places have thronged the state of Jharkhand . Amongst them, the geographers have acclaimed that Haludbani to be of great significance. Located in the Purbi Singhbhum district of the state, Haludbani is a census town.

In fact the average literacy rate of the Haludbani is 71 percent. To be more specific, male literacy rate of Haludbani is 78 percent, and female literacy rate is 62 percent.

In order to sustain their livelihood, according to some demographers, industries and mines too have thronged in the district and also in the town, thereby pointing out to the fact that maximum of the people of the Haludbani have taken up to these industries.
