In the state of Gujarat Halol is a city, which comes under the jurisdiction of the municipality in Panchmahal district.

Considering the whole of the Indian subcontinent, it is only natural that all the Indian states comprise of cities, places as well as several towns. Located at the state of Gujrat Halol is an important city.

As far as the geographical location of the Halol city is concerned, Halol is situated at 22.5° N 73.47° E. It has an average height of 499 meters or 1637 feet.

There are several demographers that have inferred certain important data about the population and literacy situation of the Indian subcontinent. As per the Census report of the year 2001, the total population of the Halol city has been enumerated. It has been counted to be 41,108. Out of the total population, males constitute of 53 percent of the population and females constitutes of 47 percent. In Halol, children below the age of six years comprises of 14 percent of the total population.

There is another place, which has drawn the attention of the people of the entire Indian subcontinent. Halol is one of the industrial centers that have developed in the state. Numerous industries too have developed in every nook and corner of the region. Literacy rate too of the Halol city is quite significant. Halol has an average literacy rate of 72%. Needless to say, it is quite high than the national average, which has been enumerated to be 59.5%. Out of it, male literacy constitutes of 76 percent, and female literacy constitutes of only 66 percent.
