An India-based satellite television channel network is Zee Network that presents Zee TV Channels. The Zee Network broadcasts in Hindi, Urdu, and other regional languages of India across its different channels. Zee TV Channels also broadcast in South Asia, along with audiences in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, East Asia, Australasia and North America. In the month of October of 1992, Zee TV network launched in India. After that the Zee TV Channels became the dominant player in Indian Television. The Zee TV Channels became the first Hindi satellite channels in India. Formerly this channel had a partnership with STAR TV. When Rupert Murdoch`s News Corporation acquired STAR TV, STAR ended their partnership with ZEE TV (now ZEE Telefilms, Ltd.).
