Varsha Soni

Varsha Soni, a far famed former national woman field hockey player represented India at 1980 Summer Olympics Games. She hails originally from Jaipur in Rajasthan. She has participated at the tournament that was held in round robin league basis. The team won the tournament. Other members of the team was Eliza Nelson (captain), Margaret Toscano, Razia Zaidi, Sudha Chaudhary, Gangotri Bhandari, Pritipal Kohli, Sharanjeet Kaur, Fiona Albuquerque, Anurita Dubey, Devinder Khokar, Nazleen Madraswala, Prem Maya, Selma D`Silva, Rajbir Kaur and Omana Kumari.
