The different temples of Uttarakhand have marked the State as a major pilgrimage center of the Hindus.

Badrinath TempleUttarakhand is a major pilgrimage center of Hindus. This offers overabundance of holy temples in mighty Himalayas. There are several temples of interest in the Uttaranchal that host devotees throughout the year round. Char Dham makes one of the major pilgrimage centers that include four most worshiped Hindu temples viz Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. According to the Hindus the Char Dham Yatra is of highly religious significance. Pilgrims from all around the world visit the place of worship and have the holy darshan of the revered deity.

Some of the interesting places of Uttarakhand are the Sidh Peeths. People visit these Sidh Peeths regularly to worship the deity. One such temple is located at Sangura in Bilkhet in Uttarakhand in India. The Sidh Peeth located on the banks of the River Nyaar is a popular temple and is dedicated to the deity Ma Bhuvneshwari. This temple is popularly known as the Narad Ganga. It is a popular belief that this deity grants all your wishes.

The Mata Murty temple located at the Mana Village in another temple that is worth-visiting in Uttarakhand.

Rudranath temple, Badrinath temple, Kedarnath temple, Naina Devi temple, Mansa Devi temple, Madmaheshwar Temple, Lakha Mandal Temple, Har ki Pauri, Gangotri Temple, Gaurikund, Chandi Devi temple, Baji Nath temple, Hemkund Saheb,Patalbhubanshwari temple Gangotri temple, Yamunotri temple, Neelkanth Mahadev are some of them.
