Haldaur is a city in the Bijnor district, which has got a total population of 17,894.

 In the vast country of India , several towns , cities and regions have grown up over the years . One such city is Haldaur. This Haldaur city is located in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. For administration and controlling of the Haldaur city, a municipal board has been formed.

No information about any city would be complete without knowing the geographical location of the place. The city of Haldaur has been located at 29.3° N 78.28° E. It has an average height of 220 metres or 721 feet.

Demographical data too can throw some light on the Haldaur city as a whole. In fact to know about the demography, several surveys have been conducted by people for quite a long time. According to the Census report of India that came out in the year 2001, the total population of the Haldaur city has been enumerated to be 17,894. To throw light on specific details, female inhabitants constitutes of 47 percent while the males comprises of 3 percent. It is really interesting to know that the average literacy rate is higher even than that of the national average, which has been counted to be 59.5 percent. Being an integral part of Binjhor district of Uttar Pradesh, it is only natural that the people of this Haldaur city too use the same tongue while carrying on conversation with each other and also with others. Common languages spoken are Urdu or Western Hindi languages. Also languages like Punjabi, Pahari, Marwari, Bengali and English are quite popular here.
