Garshyamnagar is a census town in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.

Garshyamnagar is a census town in the North 24 Parganas district of the eastern state of India, West Bengal. It comes under the Barrackpore subdivision.

According to the 2001 India census report, Garshyamnagar had a small population of 7354 inhabitants. Males and females constitute an equal proportion of the population. In Garshyamnagar, 8% of the population is less than six years of age. Garshyamnagar has an average literacy rate of 79%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 84% and the female literacy rate is 75%.
