Gandai is a town in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. It is located between 21.67° North latitude and 81.1° East longitude at a height of 328 metres(1076 feet) above mean sea level.

According to the 2001 census report, Gandai had a small population of 11,862 inhabitants. Males and females constitute an equal proportion of the population.
