Gadhinglaj is a taluka city in Kolhapur district in the western state of India, Maharashtra. It is located between 16.23° North latitude and 74.35° East longitude at a height of 623 metres (2043 feet) above mean sea level.

According to the 2001 census report, Gadhilanj in Maharashtra had a population of 25,356 inhabitants. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49% of the population. In Gadhinglaj, 11% of the poulation is less than six years of age. Gadhinglaj has an average literacy rate of 78% which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%.
