English language television channels are very popular among the urban population

CNN-IBN is an English language Indian TV news channel. It is a partnership between Global broadcast News (GBN) and turner International in India.

Aaj Tak A sister channel of the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak, Headlines Today is a premier English news channel in India. It was launched in 2003 and is one of the four-niche news channels from the TV Today Network group.

NDTV 24x7 is one of the foremost English news channels in India with some of the well-known journalists of India who form the core team. It is owned by the New Delhi Television Ltd.
